The device allows you to run up to a UHD 4K30 HDMI signal and output up to a 1080p60 signal over USB to your Windows or Mac computer. It'll auto-convert your HDMI input to the universal USB Video Class standard (UVC) and therefore can be used for such streaming applications as OBS, Twitch or Youtube Live.
